So Cal Commuters: What is the commute like on the 15 freeway from the high desert to Riverside?
How long does it take for you to get down the hill on a typical morning? What time do you leave? My family and I are thinking of moving to Apple Valley. I work in Riverside near Corona and would commute because I have a great job. I just want an idea of what I could expect. I currently live in Corona. My place of employment is right at the Corona/Riverside line. Pierce St. Exit off the 91. Also, what time do you normally leave??

Not too bad. The 15 is still a pretty clear freeway at this point, but it is getting worse. That is still quite a ways to drive though...commuting is never fun, no matter how trafficless the the drive is.

well it all depends really! it usually took me about an hour and a half to get to riverside from barstow. it all depends on when you leave though. Try to leave before rush hour traffic. Oh and the freeway is always congested right when all of the freeways merge going to riverside ( the 60 and the 15)...just stay to the left and you will get through faster.

It's not too bad, compared to LA county. But it's been getting worse the last couple years.

I'd say 20-45 minutes, morning always sucks ANY area within Los Angeles and its neighbors. Leave early. Been commuting all over California for years!
