Am I too young to work for riverside county as an office assistant 3?
Hello! I'm 21 years old, been working since I was 16. Emancipated at 16. Also I had a son at 17, I have a great sense of responsibility. Very mature and independent. I worked at quiznos for 6 months as an assistant manager, and then at Lowes as a cashier and then promoted to an administrative office clerk. I have an interview on tuesday for a county position in riverside as a office assistant 3. I'm extremely worried that they will just write me off because I'm too young. I'm going to dress appropriately and carry myself well. But I just want to know what my chances are! I'm going out of my mind, this is a great opportunity for me, I really need this. This level 3 position will require me to oversee and lead other office employees. I'm very skilled but also nervous! Will a combination of my age and my level of nervousness kill my chances??? Please help!
